Fall In Love with a Stray Cat submitted by Barbara C. |
 |
 |
About 3 years ago the house across the road was sold. The owners had 2 cats, but left 1 cat behind. In the spring I saw the cat. She was skinny and afraid of everything, I gave her a can of tuna, and she was
starving. I fed her every day. I bought her a house, put warm blankets in the house, and covered it to keep her dry. Now 3 years later she has a new home and 2 friends. My dogs and I have grown to love her. Someone
shot her in her shoulder last year with a BB. She let me clean it, put medicine on it, and she no longer limps. She is quite fussy now, loves turkey and loves Purina dry and wet cat food. I feel lucky to have found her.
She is very loving to all of us. Every morning she’s at the door waiting to be fed her wet food and dry food, but will only eat Purina. She’s kind of spoiled now, by us and by Purina. |

| Stress can induce excessive grooming in cats. Nervousness, lack of stimulation, and desire for human contact, can result in increased grooming to the point of baldness. This pattern can easily be confused with flea infestation or other skin conditions. See your veterinarian for an accurate diagnosis. |
