My mama told us all to hide, but the lady whose porch we hid under caught me and my brother U and gave us to this lady. She put us in a bathroom till we were old enough to have all our "shots". Other than one bath to kill our many fleas, she was really nice to us. |

Feisty, but very wary as I'm a barn cat and there are hawks. When my favorite dog is out with me, I'm much more laid back and very loving because he runs the hawks away. His name is Pepper and I love him dearly. Sabrina is pretty nice and so is Sargent, but Pepper is the one who makes me purr. |

My owner thinks I'm too untrusting. When I want to tell her how much I love her, I go to a post on the porch and rub it to show her I love her. She thinks I should let her pet me and hold me. Isn't that silly??? |

After I lost my brother to some monster he met in the woods at age 2, I haven't found any other cats like me. I'm aloof and I keep myself safe and alive. I'm very independent. |

HA! I love grooming myself. I don't let humans touch me. They might do something mean, like put flea treatment on me or take me to the vet for annual shots. |

I love to sleep on the pillow my owner made for me. She covered it with a soft maroon towel that I think is nice and soft. Sometimes I like to sleep in my cat apartment. |

I meow at them and rub up against a post or tree nearby to say "I really do love you". If they approach, though, I usually run away. |

There are so many interesting things on a farm, I don't miss my toys. I left them in the attic of the barn and I would rather play with the mice I catch. For a while I played squirrel toss with U and the dogs, but we haven't done that recently. |
