My cat seems to sleep all the time. Do you know if she is dreaming?

Is it okay for cats to sleep all day?

Have you ever heard of a cat with sleep apnea? I believe my cat has it.

We are a 2-cat household and my question is about the 8 month old kitten. He sleeps in the oddest positions. Sometimes he'll lay on his stomach with one front leg along side his body toward his hind end. We've seen him with one of his rear legs passing under his neck and extending beyond by a couple of inches. He's extremely limber and we were wondering if cats can be "double-jointed" as are some people.

Before acquiring a pure bred cat, spend some time researching which breed will best suit you. Consider its energy level as some breeds like the Abyssinian and Tonkinese are considered high-energy breeds. Long-haired breeds will require daily brushing and regular grooming. Certain breeds are prone to genetic problems that you may need to be prepared for in terms of bills, time, and emotional energy.
