Mentor Q & A

My kitten is about 1 year old. She came to live with us when she was only 6 weeks old. As a young kitten she purred constantly, but now as a young adult she hardly ever purrs. She is somewhat aloof, but does greet me when I come home from work, will sit/sleep on my lap and seems generally happy. Is there something emotional going on that I am not aware of, or could it be a physical problem?
