Mentor Q & A

Our Tabby, when it smells a strange odor, makes a facial expression, like no other time. It holds its mouth open a little while, and looks so funny. It then goes on about its business.
My loving, gentle, neutered two-year-old cat is viciously attacking the cats up the street. He has other cats here that he loves and gets along with but the neighbors are angry. How can I make him less aggressive without permanently locking him up and making him miserable for the rest of his life?
How do you take care of a deaf white cat?
Why does my cat chew on everything? She's three years old, in good health, very affectionate towards me. She chews my silk flower arrangements, the corners of my upholstered chairs, my shoes---anything she can get her mouth around! She's destroying my house! Help! I don't know what to do except give her to another good home -- Which I DON'T WANT TO DO!!!!
I have realized that using the sweet "oh your so cute, yes you are," voice that makes my dog's tail go a hundred miles an hour receives no reaction from my cat. I was wondering if you could possibly tell me why. Is this because cats have more attitude?
