My cat Gizmo is 18 years old. What are some of the emotional issues that I should know about concerning his advanced age? Also, whenever I have to leave for a few days because of work, Gizmo goes on a "hunger strike" where he won't eat, which I know isn't good for him because of his age and because he doesn't weigh very much any way. Why would he do this?
