Catnip: Its Versatility May Surprise You

I know what catnip is, but what is catmint?

My 14-year-old cat used to love catnip but lately when I put it down for her she just smells it and walks away. Do cat loose their interest for catnip as they get older or is something wrong with her?

I discovered, by accident, that one of my male cats LOVES curry. If I sprinkle a tiny amount (he now has his own "curry rug") he just goes wild. He will roll in it and paw it and he just has one heck of a good time (and so do I watching him). Why curry? And can that be bad for him?

In general, you should not have to bathe your cat, as they are very good at keeping themselves clean. However, should bathing be necessary, use only warm water and mild soap, preferably a cat shampoo.
