Recently, I have heard of many instances of cats "waste removal system" (but not the urinary track) becoming clogged, causing the cat discomfort and also a trip to the vet. Is there any possible way to avoid this problem? Are the factors of pet age, time of year, hard or moist food a factor? Or is it something in the food itself? And, last question, are there any early signs that I can look for?
