Mentor Q&A

My 5-month-old kitten tries eating my houseplants. Would it be safe to give her the grass that you can grow for cat?

My cat is continuously eating our houseplants and flowers. Is there any way to keep her from doing this so she doesn't harm herself and so we can keep our plants alive?

I keep hearing that I should let my kittens eat grass I can grow in the house. Should I do this and why? They are inside kittens only.

I have noticed one of my cats eating dirt from my potted plants. Why does he do this and is it harmful to him. Is there something he is lacking in his diet?
